Convention Experience
At last, the week I had been waiting for had arrived! We all knew that
this was going to be a very special event, but the truth is that the results
far exceeded our expectations!
Prior to the Convention, we had a very interesting workshop with European Sales Manager, Brian Taylor, with special guests Lupo and Frank from Germany. The Convention itself took place at the Palacio de Congresos de Valencia, a really beautiful place with facilities to suit the standards of a good Nikken event. Everything was prepared in detail by Felix Puzio's very professional team. There was a wonderful atmosphere! All those making speeches were superb and we were delighted with the new products. During supper we also enjoyed live entertainment provided by a traditional Flamenco dancing group.

Marion's Valencia Convention Experience
A Convention in sunny Spain, in charming Valencia - what an experience!
I decided to combine 'play' and Nikken 'work' once again and chose to
attend a Nikken Convention where I could also get to know a new city.
I organised the flights and the hotel, and without speaking one word of
Spanish, I flew into the unknown…
My first three days were wonderful - what a magnificent, green and vibrant city full of Mediterranean charm: ancient churches blending in with avant-garde futuristic architecture, tiny street cafés brimming with life until the early hours, and the Spanish people who are always so pleasant!
During the Convention, I found that I was able to follow what was being said by looking at the presentation slides. During the lunch and the evening party, I was lucky enough to get to know a group of Spanish Distributors from Madrid and in no time at all we were enjoying a wonderful discussion in English about our products and the HBM training. We are in such a brilliant business, which enables us to travel the world and make friends with people who share the same experiences, both professionally and emotionally!
I recommend that you all transform your holiday into a business trip and vice versa. Simply look beyond your own country borders and attend a Convention abroad - even without your Up-, Down- and Crossline. Wherever there is Nikken, you will feel at home and be with friends. One thing is certain: in addition to attending my own country Convention (which I am already looking forward to!), I will go on a Convention holiday in a different country every year.
